Baltic Amber is found in and named after the Baltic Coast. This 44 million year old fossilized tree resin contains succinic acid, at roughly 3-8% concentration. This gemstone has beautifully differing shades of bright and beautiful honey to a glooming golden brown with natural inclusion. These transparent and flat backed Amber cabochons can be wire wrapped or set in bezel cups, but can be used to your imaginative content. Amber is a birthstone for December.
